It's the last day of 2008 and I am very proud to say that I kept my New Years resolution! I did not get pregnant. Yay for me. I made this resolution when I was 38 weeks pregnant and after two scares earlier on I was ready to not be pregnant for a good long while. Phil enjoyed this resolution very much!
And now that this year is drawing to a close, I wonder what my new resolution would be. Should I be a better mother, wife, person? No, I try to do that all the time. Sometimes succeed, More times fail. (Stop being so hard on yourself.)
There we go. I resolve to stop beating myself up. No more mommy guilt (and crying) over Izzie bonking her head, wife guilt over staying at home while my husband works long hours.
This should make things interesting. I think this will be the hardest resolution to keep.
I hope everyone has a good time tonight and a wonderful 2009.
